Farmtruck and AZN Custom Car Museum (90)

BETHANY
I'm going to start this article out with a simple request. GO HERE!! I recently made my way all the way down to Bethany, Oklahoma, a suburb of Oklahoma City. I jokingly say "all the way down" because this museum is ten minutes from my house. So why haven't I gone to see it yet? Basic neglect on my part. And man, how I'm kicking myself for not remembering that I needed to go see the Farmtruck and AZN Custom Car Museum. Apologies to the museum and to you.
I had the opportunity to talk to the owner Sean Whitley, aka Farmtruck, and he told me that they used to be located on 36th street in Bethany and didn't get much traffic. In April, they moved to 39th Street which, in OKC, is part of The Mother Road, Route 66. So if you're in OKC or you're a 66 traveler on the great road, you need to stop here and check it out. You'll be glad you took the time.
Back to Farmtruck. Some of you may already know, but if you don't, here's the scoop. Between 2013 and 2023 there was a show called Street Outlaws started by Sean and Jeff "AZN" Bonnett. Since then, there have been spin offs, live shows, events and a website to keep track of it all. https://streetoutlawsokc.com Even though I love looking at badass cars and drag races, I didn't have a TV for a long time (Not prison!) so I didn't know much about the show. (I can hear the gearheads yelling at me now!) It took place in Oklahoma City and 10 guys vied for the top spot drag racing down a rented street. Since Farmtruck talked to me about his show, I got on YouTube and the website and have been watching clips for a couple of days now. The only way to make up a lack of knowledge is to dive right in. I'm having a ball catching up with the rest of the world.
All the work they did on Street Outlaws lead to the creation of the FNA Museum. As you can see from the photos below, their place is packed full of great cars and memoribilia. As you enter through the Airstream, you get transported into a world of custom builds including the world's fastest vacuum cleaner. HA! Not just that, but some of the cleverest machines I've had the pleasure of seeing. And something that I took full advantage of was the gift shop. They have tshirts highlighting your favorite rides and 405, stickers, hoodies, hats, and on and on. The staff there was so welcoming and the shop dog was awesome. Overall, this was truly a top notch museum. I love it and you will too.
